Brother Fyntana was a member of the Monks of Ivgorod.
He embarked on a quest to rid Aranoch of the lacuni. After losing his hand, he comissioned a replacement. It is said that bits of the lacuni he killed were incorporated into its construction.[1]
Fyntana apparently failed in his quest (in that lacuni can still be found in Aranoch),[2] but his fabled quest was recorded in Poldamyr's Histories of the Veradani.[1]
