Gerlach finds Franskie's corpse
Franskie was friends with Gerlach. At a point, they noticed that the cult had set up a shrine, where they venerated a glowing red gem. The duo hatched a plan to steal the gem and sell it. Gerlach was to act as a distraction, while Franskie stole the gem. Unfortunately, he fell afoul of the spirit within the gem and it drained him of his life.[1]

Franskie is an NPC in Diablo Immortal. His corpse is featured in the side quest Good Host.
