Flamebellow is a unique Balrog Blade from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
Sister to fellow unique sword Frostwind, Flamebellow has strong affinities to the Fire element.
Flamebellow does very high damage when wielded with either one or two hands, and its added fire damage makes Flamebellow more effective against enemies with low Fire Resist.
Flamebellow's most unique property is its ability to cast an extremely high level Inferno. At high levels, this Inferno can deal a good amount of damage, though it's not very powerful compared to what a Sorceress' Inferno can achieve. The only problem is that physical fighters often don't have very much mana, so using Inferno could put a bad strain on a fighter's mana.
Flamebellow is certainly a more offensive than defensive blade. However, it does grant Absorption of Fire, which could come in handy considering quite a few enemies use fire attacks.
