Reborn (known as Shepherds in the beta) are a Demon monster type encountered in the lower levels of the Temple of the Firstborn in Act II of Diablo III.
In-game[]
Reborn are quite rare, and attack almost exclusively as ranged casters.[1] Their primary attack is a volley of several bolts of energy in quick succession. These bolts are fired at very high speed and velocity, and unless the character is already moving, dodging them is extremely hard.
In addition, Reborn have the ability to teleport at will, disappearing into a blue wormhole and then emerging anywhere on the battlefield.
Visually, they appear very similar to Vidian himself; in addition, their name might imply that this is the last stage of Blood Cultists' "ascension".
