- Deckard Cain(src)
Demon Troopers (a.k.a. Demon Raiders or Demon Marauders) are a type of demonic warrior.
In-game[]
Diablo Immortal[]
Demon Assault Troopers are encountered in "Destruction's End" in Diablo Immortal.[1]
Diablo III[]
Demon Troopers are the most common demon enemies in Act III of Diablo III, the major bulk, backbone and cannon fodder of Azmodan's Army of Sin. In Act V, they are replaced by Warscarred Marauders with the same characteristics.
Visually, they are very similar, but not entirely identical, to Crater Assault Troops. Demon Troopers are always encountered in large numbers, but do not pose any danger. They are average in terms of speed, toughness and strength, and are easily killed by any area attacks, despite their hulking appearance and armor. They can, however, climb walls (and therefore arrive unexpectedly), or pour through the maws of Demonic Hell Bearers.
During fights with Azmodan and the Siegebreaker, a large number of Demon Troopers will support them, arriving endlessly, but their tide can be halted by destroying the sources of their reinforcements.
In the Treasure Realm, a variant of Demon Troopers called Sentries can be found.

Concept art for Diablo III depicts Act III demons titled "Crater Assault Troops." Visually, they bear great resemblance to Demon Warriors,[2] and are possibly an early concept for them.
Heroes of the Storm[]
Demon Troopers can be summoned by Azmodan in Heroes of the Storm.
