Blackjade was an infamous[1] succubus present beneath the Tristram Cathedral during the Darkening of Tristram. She was slain by a trio of heroes.[2]
Despite her death, Blackjade's legacy endured. A garment was worn over the following decades that was rumored to be crafted from her carcass. Many donned it over the decades, believing it granted them the powers of seduction.[1] If worn for too long, some say the wearer lost control and developed horrifying tendencies such as craving blood, killing mortals, and taking their souls.[3]

Blackjade appears in Diablo I. She is Unique Hell Spawn found in the Unholy Altar. She is one of the two concubines for the Archbishop Lazarus, along with Red Vex. Both are of the Succubus type.
