The Fallen War Matron

The Fallen War Matron (a.k.a. the Fallen Matriarch) is a type of Fallen enemy encountered in Diablo Immortal.

Lore

The War Matron is one of the only beings who compels obedience from the anarchic Fallen. Demons take every opportunity to torment targets before her gaze, even competing with each other in displays of brutality. All Fallen scheme to murder their fellows, but the Matron's fearsome strength keeps her charges trapped between violence and prostration.

In-game

War Matrons attack via melee, and can form portals that summon more Fallen. They are immune to knockback.

At least two War Matrons are encountered in Diablo Immortal. The first is in the Cursed Grove in the Dark Wood, where a War Matron (here called the "Fallen Matriarch") is summoned in the Fallen village during the "Gathering the Reagents" quest.

The second War Matron is encountered in the Temple of Namari dungeon. She is summoned by Sargoth at a random point in the boss battle.
