Fading Embers are an item in Diablo Immortal.
Gameplay[]
Sources[]
- Elder Rift: 10 per run, with a weekly cap of 280 (or 28 runs, averaging 4 per day)
- +1 for every crest used in an Elder Rift, by any party member. Initially this has a separate cap of 120 per week, but once this is hit, it counts towards the base cap of 280, adding up to 400 in total.
Usage[]
- Apprentice Jeweler:
- Craft 100 Fading Embers into a random unbound 1-star Legendary Gem
- Craft 400 Fading Embers into a random unbound 2-star Legendary Gem
- Craft 320 Fading Embers into a random unbound Legendary Gem (any star rating)
- Craft 320 Fading Embers into an Eternal Legendary Crest
- Rune Trade:
- 1 Telluric Fragments for 5 Fading Embers
History[]
Originally, Diablo Immortal had a much more complicated rune system, the description of which can still be found in outdated game guides. There was a FA rune that could be bought with Fading Embers, and this was used as the ingredient to the random Legendary Gem recipes. This rune was removed and the costs of the recipes updated accordingly.
The update on September 11, 2024 changed the Fading Ember rewards from 8 to 10, and changed the Embers from crests to count towards the base cap if the bonus cap is reached.
