Erebban

Erebban

Erebban is a game mode in Diablo Immortal. It was introduced in the Nightmare Manifest update.

Lore[]

Erebban is a castle located in the Burning Hells. It is inhabited by demons.[1]

Gameplay[]

The event can be entered from Westmarch via a portal next to Rayek. The difficulty must be Hell II or higher.

Erebban Central Hall

The starting point of the gameplay

The portal leads to a map that is a variation of the map used for Purge the Depths. The player must enter the front door and then open as many chests as possible in a limited amount of time. Opening enough chests increases the time limit, but also the Danger Level, which causes stronger and stronger monsters to spawn. A large chest spawns once 40 chests are collected. Once the time expires or the large chest is opened, another countdown starts during which the player must return to the starting location and exit through the portal. During the escape, the Avatar of Terror as well as quickly spawning monsters try to hunt the player down. Furthermore all previously open doors become closed and must be opened again. Successfully escaping results in victory, awarding an Abyssal Essence.

Normal Gems can be obtained from Erebban depending on the score. A player can obtain a maximum of 63 bound and 63 unbound Normal Gems per week from Hidden Lairs, Abyssal Verge and Erebban.

History[]

In the July 24 2024 update, Monstrous Essence drops were added to chests.

The Normal Gem rewards were added in the August 7 2024 update.
