The gates of Eldhaime Keep

Eldhaime Keep,or simply Eldhaime (pronounced as eldhime), is a keep located in Scosglen, roughly to the northwest of Kyovashad.

Lore

It was was built by Donan, and serves as his home. As the home to one of the heroes of the Days of Ash, the Cathedral of Light set up a guard detail of Knight Penitents at the keep. It also houses a number of servants and other workers. Underneath the great hall of the keep lies a well-hidden secret.

History

"I didn't vanquish him like the stories say. I imprisoned him in a soulstone. It was a last resort. I built Eldhaime over the stone to contain its evil."

At the end of the Days of Ash, Astaroth was sealed in a soulstone by Donan, Airidah and Nafain. The three designed a ward that could contain the demon's presence. Donan and Nafain travelled

to the edge of the wilderness near Kyovashad, where they sealed it within an underground cave. Donan later built Eldhaime over the the cave.

In-game

Eldhaime Keep is a zone in Diablo IV. It is visited as part of Act II campaign.
