Dreadlands is what became from broad uplands and mountains of the lands of Barbaric Tribes. Destruction of the Worldstone wasted these lands and whole Arreat Mountain dissapeared leaving a giant crater behind. While it is still home of barbarians, it is unknown what new creatures can be found here, after death of this lands.

Located north from Aranoch desert, west from Scosglen and south from the Frozen Sea, it's definitely one of the biggest geographic areas of the Sanctuary.
