Dra'yev, Twin Souls is a demon created by Skarn, through fusing the souls of the brothers Dravec and Tayev.
Biography[]
Throughout his training at the Sanctified Earth Monastery, Dravec's bitterness and anomie were only calmed by his brother. Tayev. Tayev's death ensured Dravec would never know calm again. The brothers were reunited after Dravec pledged his soul to Skarn, Lord of Damnation, who cruelly granted Dravec's wish by fusing the two into a demonic monstrosity.[1]
The Twin Souls, just after being created
After delivering a Worldstone shard to Skarn, Skarn fulfilled his pact with Dravec in a twisted manner by fusing Dravec's soul with his brother's, creating a new demon from the fusion. Skarn then left the demon behind to delay the Shard-seeker while he retreated to his domain. The demon was killed by the hero(es).[2]
In-game[]
The Twin Souls is the final boss of the Frozen Tundra zone of Diablo Immortal. It is fought in the Unformed Land in the Hall of Ancients, which is located in the Ruins of Sescheron.
As a clue to its origin, the demon looks like a mangled fusion of 2 men. The main body seems to belong to Tayev, with Dravec's torso and left hand protuding from its chest. Dravec's whip is fused to his left hand, forming a sideways tail.
Phase 1[]
- Spine Dart: Dra'yev shoots a claw from its right hand at the player. This action is repeated 3 times.
- A swipe with its right hand.
- Snatch: Dra'yev lashes out with its "tail", and uses it to pull the player.
- Bone Spikes: After a Snatch, Dra'yev stabs his claws into the ground, erecting a cone of bone spikes.
Phase 2[]
- Dravec: Brother, no! Tayev,defend yourself! Don't let him hurt you!
At ≈66.7% of its total life, Dra'yev splits into its component halves. Both Dravec and Tayev act as independent units, with their specific attacks.

- Bola: Dravec flings a bola at the player which Immobilizes them for 2 seconds if hit.
- Wraiths: Dravec teleports a distance away, and unleashes a barrage of spirits at the player.
- Tayev
- Melee Swipe: Tayev swipes at the player with a hand claw.
- If the player gets trapped by a bola, Tayev teleports to them and unleashes a series of swipes with his hand claws.
- Tayev doesn't attack if he's already preparing for a skill when the player becomes trapped.
- If the player gets trapped by a bola, Tayev teleports to them and unleashes a series of swipes with his hand claws.
- Charge: Tayev charges forward with a powerful punch.
- The animation is similar to that of the Empowered Fist; a legendary variant of the Monk's Imprisoned Fists.
- Leap: Tayev leaps to the player's position, landing with a ground punch, causing knockback.
Phase 3[]
- Dravec: Spirits of this desolate realm! Heed my demands and serve the Lord of Hell!
The brothers merge again
When either Dravec or Tayev have been injured to 50% of their total life, they merge back together for the next phase. The battle begins with a nova.
- Nova: Dra'yev unleashes wraiths in different directions from itself. For a short period, they dash through the arena, causing damage and knockback if they hit the player.
- Leap: Dra'yev teleports behind the player, then leaps on them. It creates a ring of bone spikes around itself when it lands.
- Torrent: Dra'yev shoots a barrage of claws from its right hand at the player.
- Bombs: Dra'yev summons 3 orbs that charge up, then explode.

Trivia[]
- Though the majority of the demon seems to be made from Tayev's body, Dravec's mind is more in control of the demon.
- The demon is never named. During the boss fight, the name above its health bar is "Dravec and Tayev". The title "The Twin Souls" is from an exploration quest which says, "Defeat the Twin Souls". The Horadric Bestiary identifies it as Dra'yev.
