Donan's Study

Donan's Study is a campaign-exclusive dungeon in Diablo IV.

Lore

The study was located beneath Firebreak Manor. It was used by Donan to write and handle his other affairs. In 1336, Lilith manifested within the study before Donan, seeking information on Astaroth. The study was later entered by the Wanderer, who saw the scene play out before them due to the blood petals Lilith had left behind.

In-game

The study plays a role in Act II of Diablo IV during the quest "Dark Omens." Players must enter the study and inspect the blood petals to progress further in the quest.

Points of Interest

• Book: A large tome entitled 'Grimoire of Ash. The pages are filled with ancient writings of Hell's fire demons. One passage is about Astaroth, the Charred Duke.
• Unfinished Manuscript: A stack of papers bearing the title 'The Fall of Astaroth.' It appears to be an unfinished chronicle of Donan's battle against the demon. Numerous lines have been crossed out and rewritten.
