The Desolate Gaol
The Desolate Gaol is an abandoned prison in the Southern Dreadlands, located to the west of the Gray Wards.
Lore[]
The Desolate Gaol was already old before being abandoned,[1] and criminals were interred, tortured and executed there. It was there that the soldiers of Staalbreak first confronted the Shardborne. The Shardborne invaded in huge numbers, forcing the guards to abandon it—along with the prisoners inside.[1]
In-game[]
The Desolate Gaol is a Southern Dreadlands zone in Diablo Immortal. It borders the Gray Wards to the east, and the Dumps—and the Underdeeps beyond that—to the south.The Desolate Gaol is infested with Shardborne.
