Demonic Remains is the second Helliquary quest in Diablo Immortal. It continues from Opening the Helliquary, immediately the player finishes talking to Rayek. It leads directly into A Volatile Mix.

- Kill Chaos Herald Pyl.
- Talk to Rayek.
- Pick up the Helliquary.
- Tap the menu to open the Helliquary and Seal the Remains.

Enter the Challenge Rift
- At the end of the Rift
- Chaos Herald Pyl: (emerges from the ground) Fire consumes, and flesh be torn! Destruction, hate, and fear reborn!
- Defeat Chaos Herald Pyl
- Chaos Herald Pyl: (after receiving major injuries) This was not foretold. You trifle with fate itself!
- After defeating the Chaos Herald
- Collect Pyl's broken helm and exit the rift
Return to Rayek
- Rayek: You're back! And you stink of demon. I'll take that to mean you were successful. Now, take a look at the Helliquary; you'll see places to store demonic remains like the ones your Chaos Herald left behind. Once placed, they will seal, and the device will siphon the demonic energies.
- Class: Are you sure siphoning demonic energy is a good idea?
- Rayek: We need energy--we use demons or we use people...Personally, the former seems more ethical. Look, don't worry, sealing the remains will contain the darkness and all the power will be channeled directly to you without any noticeable corruption. Pick up the box and I'll show you.
- Pick up the Helliquary
- Rayek: That's it. Now, seal the remains within the Helliquary.
- Seal Pyl's remains in the Helliquary
- Rayek: It's done! Did it work? Can you feel his strength flowing through you?
