Demie is an NPC that is seen in Diablo Immortal.
Biography[]
Demie was betrothed to Anson. At a point he decided that they should climb the peaks by Mount Arreat by winter, so that he could show her the snow when they are most beautiful. Though she was uncomfortable with the idea, she agreed to make him happy. Unfortunately she got ill and fell into a magical coma.[1]
When Anson prepared a ritual to wake her, she stretched her hand towards him to warn him off, but he mistook it as a sign that the ritual was working. During the ritual, she woke up and warned him vocally to stay away, but in his happiness he embraced her. The ritual failed and she went back to sleep, freezing Anson as he embraced her.[1]
