The Deepstrider Behemoth is a monster seen in Diablo Immortal. It is a major antagonist of the Terror's Tide extension.
Lore[]
Tentacled Deepstriders spend their lives rummaging in the brackish depths, where they can subsist on carcasses for months. This deepstrider runt's scavenging ended when it swallowed a chunk of the Worldstone. It burst into misshapen growth, which continued long after the stone was pulled free from its maw.[1]

The behemoth, with a Worldstone shard
After the destruction of the Worldstone, a large shard crashed into the sea near Stormpoint. It came into possession of the prison warden. Due to its corrupted nature, the whole prison denizens were transformed to hideous monsters. The warden was also transformed, but managed to keep his mind for a while.[2]
As a result of loneliness, or perhaps the warped state of mind, the warden exposed the shard to a sea creature he befriended. Close proximity to the shard mutated it over time into a behemoth.[2] It swallowed the Worldstone shard.[3]
The Deepstrider shared a close bond with the warden. When he was killed, it went on a rampage and captured a child who was present in the Warden's office. Both the girl's brother and the Shard-seeker were in hot pursuit; with the brother diving into the sea to save her. While another adventurer went to save the children, the Shard-seeker drew the behemoth's attention and fought it. The Deepstrider was ultimately slain.[4]
