Damnation's Chosen is a Realm of Damnation side quest in Diablo Immortal. It triggers if the player talks to the Kyrel whenever he appears in the western region of the Halls of Punishment.

- Follow Kyrel.
(The angel Kyrel believes he has discovered a wicked mortal soul in hell, one that is assisting the forces of Damnation. Follow him) - Kill the Aberrant Hunters (0/4).
(Transformed beings — once human — have attacked you and Kyrel. Defeat them) - Pursue Eskara.
(Before the creatures attacked, you heard the voice of Eskara — a cultist of Skarn whom you battled in Wortham. Pursue her) - Kill the Aberrant Hunters (0/4).
(More transformed monstrosities block your path. Kill all of the aberrant hunters) - Find Eskara.
(Eskara's minions are defeated, but her plot persists. Find and stop her before she can complete another ritual) - Kill Eskara (0/1).
(You've come face to face with Eskara, seemingly alive once more. Defeat her) - Defeat Eskara the Eternal (0/1).
(Eskara is reborn in demonic form. End her evil) - Talk to Kyrel.
(Eskara lies dead — hopefully for good this time. Talk with Kyrel)

- Kyrel: The wicked soul of a mortal writhes nearby. And blight festers around it.
This is your problem to solve, <name>. But I will aid you.
- Start following Kyrel
- Kyrel: It is unusual for a mortal soul to travel beyond.
This one must be bound tightly to damnation.
- The duo meet Eskara standing behind gestating cocoons
- Eskara: I have seen this day. Lord Skarn will reward my service further.
- The cocoons hatch into Aberrant Hunters. Eskara disappears
- Aberrant Hunter#1: Can... smell your skin melt... yes...
- Eskara: (disembodied) But I am not alone in receiving his blessings.
- After defeating the Aberrants
- Kyrel: We will have recrimination. Follow at her heels.
No such ritual can ever again transpire.
- Continue pursuing Eskara
The duo come across more Aberrants
- Kyrel: What fell power have they drawn? Are we too slow?
- Aberrant Hunter#2: The scent...of hot blood...
- After defeating the Aberrant
- Eskara: (disembodied) I see...the pit stretch wide to receive me...and it's glorious.
- Kyrel: She must be purged. Before her power overwhelms.
- Continue the chase
The duo catch up to Eskara as she imbues her essence into a cocoon
- Eskara: Damnation is kind.
(turns to face her opponents) Eternity. As I was promised.
- Defeat Eskara
- Eskara: There is nothing you can do to me which I have not already endured.
- After defeating Eskara
- Eskara: Your every wickedness...will return to you a thousandfold.
- Eskara disappears, and the cocoon becomes active
- Eksara: Don't think I've forgotten you, <name>. You'll join me in the fires.
Eskara is reborn in the demon gestating in the cocoon
- Eskara the Eternal: That was much more pleasant than I expected.
After defeating Eskara the Eternal
- Kyrel: So, you have slain this mortal more than once.[1] Very thorough.
The creature is dealt with...but sure to reform, as even the lowest demons do. We will keep vigil.
Their blood stench reached me before you did.
