"Damius, is that you? What happened?"
"Thieving peasants! They came while I was sleeping, pinned me down, and cut off my robes and jewelry!"
"I’m so sorry, my friend. Come, stay with me. I am sharing a tent with a fine and generous family."
"Oh, no! I am staying where the guards are. You wait and see. That peasant family is going to slit your throat and rob your corpse."

- A nobleman and Damius(src)
Damius was a Caldeum noble; one of those who were cast out of the Imperial Palace by Hakan II. While he was sleeping, commoners pinned him down, and cut off his robes and jewelry. A fellow noble offered him a place with a family he was staying with, but Damius refused.[1]
After Belial's defeat, Damius thanked The Nephalem for what they had done, wishing that his companions had lived to see this day.[2]
