Captain Daltyn, Former Captain of the Guard, is a Super Unique Risen Dead in Act I of Diablo III.
Biography[]
Daltyn was the captain of Tristram Militia. With the coming of the Fallen Star, the dead began to rise from the crypts of the Tristram Cathedral. Daltyn led his men to the cathedral, but they were slaughtered, Daltyn included. With his death, Rumford became the militia's new captain.[1]
Daltyn returned to plague the world of the living, but was slain by The Nephalem.[2]

Daltyn appears in Diablo III as part of "The Legacy of Cain" quest. He is found in the Hidden Cellar of Adria's Hut with Leah, early in the act. He is accompanied by his former soldiers. In combat, he has Fast and Frozen affixes.
In Adventure Mode, there is an Elite pack found instead of him.
