Custerian Wristguards are Legendary bracers in Diablo III. They require character level 31 to drop.

Their unique feature is giving player experience upon looting gold (same amount). Although helpful at any level for at least some time, this is most usable for low-level characters, especially when it is combined with a high value of Gold Find. It is also very useful for Paragon level farming in the Treasure Realm, as one will inevitably gather millions of gold, especially on higher difficulty levels.

The experience gained from this item is not shared to other players in the same party. The legendary effect works even if equipped on Followers.

  • The quote's attribution is a reference to Christopher Guest's character Nigel Tufnel from the movie Spinal Tap, with the description of the Custerians being a reference to the opening lines of the song "Stonehenge":
"In ancient times...
Hundreds of years before the dawn of history,
Lived a strange race of people—the Druids.
No one knows who they were, or what they were doing,
But their legacy remains
Hewn into the living rock... Of Stonehenge."
