The Crimsonblade are a group of pirates, active in the sea south of Aranoch.[1] They are based on Bilefen.[2]
Lore[]
The Crimsonblade engages in pillage, thievery, and extortion. Their pilfered goods are melted into black market coins that they call King's Galleons, much to the ire of Westmarch.[3]
History[]
Note: The following events aren't necessarily in chronological order.
The Crimsonblade's pillaging went unchecked for a long period, and as a result, they grew bold. Losing patience, Westmarch offered bounties to adventurers to attack the pirates in their own village.[4]
The Crimsonblade used a lodestone to lure ships into their haven, which they passed off as Port Justinian. An imposter would pass them off as Talva Silvertongue, get the ship captain to unload their cargo, and subsequently seize it. The scam was ended by a hero/group of heroes, and the lodestone destroyed.[5]
