Cord of the Sherma is a legendary belt in Diablo III. It requires character level 31 to drop.
The field created by the special affix is rather large (roughly 35 yards radius), created at the point where the target (not the player) was at the moment of proc. The chance is approximately 25-35%, but it seems to have an internal cooldown of at least 10-15 seconds. The first time enemies touch the field, they are Blinded (even if they came into the area after the field appeared), and anything within is slowed by 60% for the entire duration.
When this item is equipped on Followers, their hits trigger the effect, but not the player's.
