Contracts are daily espionage quests exclusive to the Shadows.[1] They introduce (and inflame) the Cycle of Strife between the Immortals and Shadows, much to the joy of the Shadows' spies.[2]
Gameplay[]
Contracts are daily espionage quests in Diablo Immortal, and are exclusive to Shadows players. By completing Contracts, players can increase their standing and rank in their clan. Like other Shadow activities, Contracts will contribute to the chance to contest the reigning Immortals in the Rite of Exile.[3] Most of the Contracts can be completed solo.[2]
The Contracts are handed out by Bartender Bailey in the Wolf City Tavern in Westmarch. Contracts reset on Mondays, giving the player a chance to complete 3 contracts that day. Subsequent days will grant 1 additional chance, with a weekly cap of 5 chances.
Shadows may accept 1 out of 2 random Contracts from Bailey. Experience and gold are rewarded for each completed Contract and there is a chance to reward Legendary Item(s). Additionally, bonus chests are rewarded for completing the first 3 Contracts each week.
Shadows may abandon a Contract when in progress, forfeiting rewards and the chance to complete the Contract.[4]
For the most part, Contracts cannot use the auto-navigation feature of Diablo Immortal. Instead, the player must check the map provided in the contract and cross-reference it with the zone map to find their objectives. However, if they get within range of an objective, an icon will appear on the mini-map, allowing them to use the feature. Contracts can also take place in dungeons.
