Combat Masteries

Combat Masteries increases the effectiveness of six weapon types (Maces, Axes, Swords, Polearms, Throwing Weapons, and Spears). Aside from the masteries, this tree also has useful utility skills such as increasing resistances through Natural Resistance and defense through Iron Skin.

All Combat Mastery skills are passive, but the weapon masteries apply only when the Barbarian equips a specific weapon. Putting many points into all of the weapon Masteries is not feasible, so the most efficient thing to do is choose just one Mastery, picking weaponry of the matching type.
