- Ull
- Normal: These frozen wastes extend no welcome to visitors. You'd be better off heading back to where you came. Arreat belongs to the damned and the dying.
- Barbarian: Welcome home, wanderer. Or back to what's left of it, at least. Only damned and the dying still remain on this mountain. What brings you to such a hopeless place?
- Class
- Normal: I seek a traitor to the monk order... a man in orange robes who consorts with demons. He came to this mountain for a dark purpose, and I am not leaving until he has paid for his crimes.
- Barbarian: Vengeance. I seek a man in orange robes who consorts with demons. He came to our sacred mountain for a dark purpose, and I am not leaving until his blood stains the tundra crimson.
- Ull: Hmph. A man like that would stand out like a pear tree in the snow. If he has thrown in his fot with the demons, your quarry likely hides in Sescheron... along with the rest of the hellish monsters plaguing this land.
The veil between life and death has been torn open in those ruins. Our ancestors spirits haunt the once-hallowed halls, fighting an endless war. I should warn you to stay away but I can see the words would be wasted.
- Ull continues to gather firewood
- Ull
- Normal: If you grow tired, the village of Bitter Hearth will welcome you. It is small, but there is a fire to warms your limbs.
- Barbarian: If you grow tired, the village of Bitter Hearth will always greet a child of Bul-Kathos with open arms.
- Head over to the Ruins of Sescheron. At the entrance bridge, a female barbarian talks to a Barbarian Spirit.
- Navair: Your spirit is... fading? By the Ancients...
- Barbarian Spirit: There is no peace in death... The demons... are coming.
- Demon Assault Troopers attack. After defeating them
- Navair: Well fought, stranger.
What brings you to these forsaken halls? - Class
- Normal: I am on the hunt for a traitor. One of your tribesmen spoke of the spirits haunting this place, but I did not expect this kind of chaos.
- Barbarian: My prey hides somewhere within. You are a Shadow Wolf, are you not? One of your tribesmen tried to warn me of Sescheron's fate, but I had not expected this.
- Navair
- Normal: It was not always so. This is the price of the Worldstone's destruction. My people cannot move on. They fight without end —without hope of redemption.
- Barbarian: How could you? This is the price we paid for failing to protect the Heart of Creation. Our people cannot move on. They fight without end — without hope of redemption.
- Class
- Normal What a terrible fate. It pains me to hear that, but the man I seek hides in these ruins. And neither demons nor ghosts will prevent me from reaching him.
- Barbarian: What an atrocity. The man I seek violated these ruins. He intends to deliver a shard of the Worldstone into the clutches of evil. That must not come to pass.
- Navair
- Normal: Then we have similar aims. Death leaks into the world from the heart of Sescheron. My people are broken and our ancestors suffer. I will see it end. Help me break through the demon army and will aid you however I can.
- Barbarian: Then let me help you. Death leaks into the world from the heart of Sescheron. My people are broken and our ancestors suffer. Perhaps together we can see their misery end.
