- Dealing damage summons a pillar of ice at the enemy's location with Life equal to Y% of your maximum Life. Enemies near the pillar are Chilled and dealt X% base Damage + 344 each second. The pillar persists for 6 seconds or until destroyed. Cannot occur more often than 20 seconds.

Cold Confidant requires the following Legendary Gems to activate Resonance set bonuses after Awakening:
- Lo's Focused Gaze (1-star, unlocks at Rank 4)
- Igneous Scorn (2-star, unlocks at Rank 6)
- Viper's Bite (2-star, unlocks at Rank 8)
The following Resonance set bonuses can be activated after reaching the needed Resonance from the above gems:
- 10: Damage taken while moving decreased by 3%
- 30: Damage taken while suffering loss of control decreased by 4%
- 50: Block Chance increased by 2%
The following Legendary Gems require Cold Confidant to activate Resonance set bonuses after Awakening:
- Crimson Behelit (2-star, at Rank 6)
- Blood Floe (5-star, at Rank ??? (4, 5 or 6))
