- Patch notes(src)
Cluckeye is a legendary bow in Diablo III. It requires character level 50 to drop.
The unique legendary power of the bow transforms and enhances the Witch Doctor's Hex skill, making it the only bow in the game designed for a specific class other than Demon Hunters.
The current power and its Witch Doctor focus was implemented in a redesign quite late in the game, in Patch 2.7.6.[1] For many years before that, the bow had a humorous power for all classes: firing chickens at enemies. This version still functions for previously dropped Cluckeyes, but is no longer obtainable.

- Casting Hex - Angry Chicken turns all your pets into exploding chickens. Chickens deal 150 - 200% increased damage, and Angry Chicken deals 50% more damage per exploded chicken.
This bow has been tainted by some strange magic indeed.
Previous version[]
This bows that dropped before the redesign have the same stats, except they grant Dexterity rather than Intelligence, and of course have the previous legendary power:
- 25% - 50% chance to cluck when attacking.
The special effect causes a chicken to occasionally spawn along with fired arrows and fly in tandem with them. The power is not purely cosmetic: Each chicken deals 500% damage as Physical to one target it hits, and confuses the victim for 2 seconds.
