Glous is the chieftain of the Bear Tribe.
Biography[]
Following the "call of the ancients," Glous led the Bear Tribe to the Hallowed Glacier, where they established a refuge. In 1336, he heard of the deeds of the Wanderer, who eventually met him in the refuge. Glous declared that the Wanderer's deeds made them kin, and made them the Bear Tribe's champion. He asked the Wanderer to accompany him into the Hallowed Glacier, in order to gain the wisdom of the Ancients, and bring purpose to his broken tribe, who were haunted by their failure at Mount Arreat decades ago.[1]
Making their way through the glacier, they came across Kravett, a Shaman of the tribe. Kravett had been bound to the ice, but before they could explain further, they were attacked by Cyhrach; an undead nephalem who had been consuming Bear Tribe members who had entered the glacier. Cyhrach was defeated, and Glous told Kravett how the Bear Tribe had endured in their pursuit of the ancients' call. Kravett told Glous to take his blessing to the tribe, find a new destiny, and dwell on their failure at Arreat no more.[1]

Chieftain Glous is an NPC in Diablo IV. He is found at the Bear Tribe Refuge. Talking him initiates the "Call of the Ancients" side quest.
