- Avalanche: Chained Spear now hurls giant rocks, inflicting damage on all enemies in its path. It is unlocked by equipping the Legendary armor Crusher Rig.
- Chains of the Ancients: Chained Spear now conjures a Spirit of the Ancients for 5 seconds, that repeatedly casts Chained Spear, dealing damage to enemies while also Slowing their Movement Speed by 35% and pulling them in. Pull effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every 5 seconds. Chained Spear Damage Increased by 18.0%. It is unlocked by equipping the Legendary armor Shackled Fate.
- Chained Spear damage increased by 10%. (Awakened)
- Flaming Spear: Chained Spear now hurls 3 flaming spears that deals damage to all enemies in their path, each leaving a Burning trail that deals ≈47% additional damage over 4 seconds. It is unlocked by equipping the Legendary armor Charred Iron.
- Electrified Spear: Chained Spear now hurls 3 electrified spears that damage and immobilize all enemies in their path. It is unlocked by equipping the Legendary armor Cracklefell.
- Harpoon: Chained Spear now hurls 3 harpoons that knock enemies away, damaging and Stunning them. It is unlocked by equipping the Legendary armor Impaler's Breath.
- Serrated Edge: Chain Spear now throws a piercing spear, dealing damage to all enemies it passes though while also applying a stacking Bleed that deals ≈35% damage per second, up to a maximum of ≈70% damage per second at 3 stacks. Chained Spear damage increased by 18.0%. It is unlocked by equipping the Legendary armor Hearth Hook.
- Sweeping Spear: Chained Spear now sweeps spears from the left and the right, gathering all enemies within the area into a cluster in front of you. It is unlocked by equipping the Legendary armor Temple of Battle.

- Obin's Many Fingers: Chained Spear hurls 2 additional spears.
- Scalesunder: Chained Spear now also shatters armor, increasing all damage enemies take by 8% for 4.2 seconds.
