The Cathedral of Light

The Cathedral of Light is the headquarters of the titular group during the Great Enmity. It is located in Kyovashad.

Lore

The Cathedral of Light was constructed by the titular group. Inside, there are many depictions of Inarius; imposing statues in precious stone and metal portray him as the archangel he once was. The faithful often bow in supplication before him. Depictions of Lilith, however, are nowhere to be seen, despite her role as cocreator of humanity.

The faithful will sometimes make pilgrimages to the cathedral.

History

When the Blood Harvest intensified, the Cathedral closed its doors to the people of Kyovashad. Knights Penitent were deployed outside the Cathedral to keep the populace at bay.

In-game

The Cathedral of Light is a Fractured Peaks zone in Diablo IV, located in northern Kyovashad. It is a Capstone Dungeon, which must be completed to unlock Nightmare difficulty.
