Captured Soul was a Legendary Crafting Material in Diablo III before patch 2.0.6. It requires a Character Level of 1 to use, is account bound, and may be stacked up to 1000 times. It was required for the crafting of the Lai Yui's Persuader legendary daibo. As of patch 2.0.6., it no longer drops, and existing Souls may be sold for 50,000 gold each.
The item had a chance to drop off the unique Soul Lashers:
- Aloysius the Ghastly (The Keep Depths Level 2)
- Riplash (Tower of the Damned Level 2)
The haunting screams emanating from the dark vial chill you to your bones. Could this actually be a disembodied soul, torn from a living person? Could "soul ripper" be more than just a name?
