The Bygone Islet is a tiny island dotted with ruins located a few days travel northwest of the Gulf of Westmarch. It is not exactly on any ship route, but close enough that a ship can drop a passenger there.[1]
Lore[]
In 1272, an excavation was carried out on the ruins in the island.[1][2] Evidence points that the excavation was spearhead by either the Immortals or the Shadows.[1] Artefacts were recovered from the island and returned to Westmarch City Westmarch, and at a point a request was made for more workers.[2] The bounty master sent volunteers to the island.[1]
Though the dig went ahead of time, nightmares and hallucinations that spread amongst the workers made it a test of will. Finally, a tower was unearthed, and the workers were free to return—albeit most with their minds broken.[2]
The tower was later opened, and it revealed lost secrets of the city of Corvus though a curse lingered throughout it's interior.[1]
