Burnt Knights

The Burnt Knights are an order of knights that splintered from the Cathedral of Light after the death of Inarius and the Cathedral's failed assault on Hell. They engaged in a manhunt for Lorath Nahr and Neyrelle.^[1]

The terminology of "Burnt" may refer to the failure of the Knights Penitent in Hell (burnt by hellfire) and/or the notion of being "burnt" (i.e. disavowed) by a group, in this case, the Cathedral.
The insignia of the Burnt Knights bears resemblance to the prototypical Zakarum insignia from Akarat's time.
