Burning Souls are variants of the Willowisp. These beings hate the living, and attack viciously until killed.[1] They can also form from the ghosts of people who died in fire.[2]

They can spawn in Plains of Despair. They are the only other used non-guest willowisp type. They have a 80% chance to deal Mana Burn with melee.
