Burning Aether is an upcoming item in Diablo IV. It is part of Infernal Hordes.

Gameplay

Burning Aether is earned during Infernal Hordes gameplay. It is collected during a Horde wave. After defeating the Fell Council, players can use Aether to purchase Spoils of Hell.

Burning Aether is earned by slaying Aether Fiends and Aether Lords, or by destroying Soulspires and Aetheric Masses. Burning Aether is earned individually, regardless of playing solo or in a group.
