For Diablo II crossbow, see Buriza-Do Kyanon (Diablo II).

Buriza-Do Kyanon is a legendary two-handed crossbow in Diablo III. It requires character level 29 to drop.

This crossbow makes all missile (not beam, not torrent) attacks pierce 1-2 times for full effect. If the missile can pierce by itself with some chance, it will have 1-2 guaranteed pierces before the normal check starts (Hungering Arrow is the best example), but, obviously, it will have no effect on missiles that always pierce. Note that it only affects missiles that require a contact with the enemy, not those that are directed at terrain. In addition, just like the previous incarnation, it has high chances to Freeze enemy on hit and adds Cold damage on every attack.
