Broken Crown

The Broken Crown is a Legendary helm in Diablo III. It requires character level 8 to drop, and is guaranteed to drop from the Skeleton King the first time the player kills him between level 11 and 65 (inclusive).

Prior to patch 2.1, it was one of the few helms in game to provide the attack speed bonus.

Patch 2.1.2

As of patch 2.1.2, the Broken Crown will gain a Legendary power: whenever a gem drops, a gem of the type socketed into this item also drops (The additional gem that is dropped will be of the same quality level as the original gem that was dropped).
