Breaking the Siege is the eighth storyline quests released with the Terror's Tide update on Diablo Immortal. It starts at the end of What the Sea Owes, immediately after the player exits the Wrecked Ship. It is followed by Unexpected Reinforcement.
Objectives[]
- Reach the South Wall of Stormpoint Keep.(1)
(With the alchemical explosive you and Esmund found,[1] you should be able to enter Stormpoint Keep while the cult is laying siege to the opposite side)- Kill the Demons (0/9).
- Reach the Keep Walls.
- Place Alchemical Explosives (0/1).
- Find the Soldier.
- Talk to Randall (0/1).
- Head into Stormpoint Keep.
- Find the Bridge.
(Stormpoint Keep's battlements hide the path to its prison. Find the northwest bridge that will get you closer) - Kill the Demons (0/3).
(The massive flying demon crushed Stormpoint's defenses on the bridge, and left a smaller invasion force of demons behind. Defeat them and continue your advance into Stormpoint Keep) - Cross the Bridge to Stormpoint Keep.
(Stormpoint Keep's forces have been dealt a major blow. Cross the bridge and enter the fortress proper to support the soldiers against the Burning Hells) - Defeat the Invaders (0/5).
Talk to the Soldier.
(The Cult of Terror has reached Stormpoint Keep's interior. Defend injured soldiers and push the cult back) - Kill the Cultists (0/6).(2)

At the south wall
- Class: The south wall. Esmund was right.
The cult's already inside. Breaking in shouldn't make anything worse.
- Place the alchemical explosive on the wall

The alchemical explosive destroys the wall
- Randall: (from a distance) What is that?
Oh. Phew. Hail uh — soldier?

Head over to Randall
- Randall: Looks like you... broke our wall. No, it's fine. Most of the fighting's passed us by.
- Class:
- Randall: Spotting for flyers. Running back to the commander. Occasionally getting our feet lopped off at the ankles.
- Class: Tell me how to get to the prison, and I'll help you with the demons. I've already taken care of a few.
- Randall: Honest? Sure. We'll take anybody who's offerin'.
There's only one way to the prison, and we keep it good and sealed up. You want to head to the parapets — the bridge there is northwest. - Class: Thank you. Keep your swords sharp. You can still win this battle.
- Head over to the bridge
- Class: That's the bridge. The prison shouldn't be far off.
- Meanwhile, on the bridge
- Freda: Look — to the sky!

The soldiers are decimated by the Howling Terror, and demons appear to man the forte
- After defeating the Demons
- Class: There's nothing I can do to stop that monster. I need to move before the cult takes the entire keep.
- Upon reaching the keep
- Remu: (from a distance) Heh... I can still fight. Not dead yet.
- An injured soldier is surrounded by cultists. Rescue him

After defeating the Cultists
- Remu; You're not one of them. Maybe we've got a chance.
- Class: I'm looking for the commander. Can you stand?
- Remu: Yes... I think. He should be in the great hall. If they haven't pushed him back.
- A Deadwright appears
- Terror Cultist: Where is the man in a cage? The one with the Shard?
- More Cultists arrive
- Terror Cultist: Bring him here, or the Dark Lord will drink your terror for days.

The Deadwright sets Remu ablaze
- Remu: (last words) Death before surrender!
- Kill the Cultists
