Stats[]
Boyarsky's Chip
Legendary Gem
Properties:
This fragment of a gem, called a chip, was discovered in an underground vault by old man Boyarsky, who fashioned it into the beautiful gem it is today. It damages those who would damage its owner, and once inserted into a socket, it will never fall out.
Notes[]
- A skill that hits more than one enemy at once will Taunt the closest one.
- Primary skills include even Witch Doctor and Wizard Signature Spells.
Tips[]
- Considering the usual bonus, the taunt is actually beneficial for the wielder, as enemies will be forced to attack them and therefore receive more hits from their own attacks.
- It is most useful for Crusaders, but may be used by any class.
- For maximum effect, this gem can be combined with other Thorns-enhancing items, like Hack, which applies Thorns damage to offensive attacks.
Trivia[]
- This gem uses an icon of the cut gem called Shen's Delight, but with barbs over it.
- The gem is likely named after Leonard Boyarsky, and possibly a reference to the Fallout series, for which Boyarsky wrote the plot for the first two games.
History[]
- This gem was introduced as a match for the Thorns of the Invoker set and Thorns revamp in 2.4.0.
