The Bottomless Potion of Chaos is a potion in Diablo III, added in patch 2.4.2. It is not consumed upon use.
It requires a Character Level of 61, and can only be obtained in Torment difficulty.
Once imbibed, at any Life ratio, it will teleport the character in a random direction. The distance increases the lower Life gets, roughly 30 yards at 50%. It is similar to the Teleport spell, but does not benefit from its runes and enhancements.

“In my workshop, when one sees liquid in a bottle, logic dictates that it is something beneficial. But bottle logic is wrong! My genius has transcended the beneficial. Now, I ride the waves of chaos. Chaos!” — Royal Apothecary Jentulf, in his final letter to the Society of Apothecaries, before his disappearance.
Trivia[]
- It is one of the two potions invented by Jentulf (the other being Bottomless Potion of Amplification) that are not shaped in his signature bottle style.
- The icon is the one formerly used by Element of Celerity.
Development[]
Originally, the teleport would happen if the character was below 40% of maximum Life, randomly teleporting them anywhere on the screen, similar to the classic Phasing spell.
