- This section describes the in-universe origin of the Book of Lorath.
After losing the Horadric Vault to the Cathedral of Light, Lorath Nahr begins writing a book he intends to give to Neyrelle and anyone else who may need the wisdom of the Horadrim. Lorath travels across Sanctuary to collect relics in order to create protective wards for his book and guard it from those with demonic or dark intent. When the book is finished, Lorath vows to find Neyrelle and help her no matter the cost.
