As the Countess's chosen servants ingest more of her vile blood, they inherit her control over flame, but are also closely bound to their ruler's mind. Bloodsworn priestesses feel her rage at every transgressing footstep upon her ancestral land, and strike back as though it were their own homes under invasion.[1]
