Blood Crescent is a unique Scimitar, found in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
Blood Crescent, like many unique normal weapons, is rarely useful past early game. Although it may have bonuses that are worthy of many good unique weapons, such as life leech, as well as a relatively high chance of Open Wounds, Blood Crescent simply cannot deal out a useful amount of damage in later game.
This weapon can be effectively wielded in Act I or Act II in Normal difficulty. Later, if the player were to hire an Iron Wolf, it can be equipped to them for a hefty +15 to All Resistances, until a better caster Sword is found.
