Bladebone is a normal unique Double Axe from Diablo II.
Like many of its fellow normal unique weapons, Bladebone is unfortunately dated and often barely usable past early game.
Still, Bladebone has its uses. Like its name implies, Bladebone is more effective against Undead enemies. With both increased damage and attack rating against undead enemies, Bladebone is useful in Act I against enemies such as Zombies or Skeletons, in Act II the benefits really shine, since there are many Undead monsters around.
Bladebone also has a very small added Fire damage. Barely more than a chipped or flawed Ruby would bestow, the damage is only useful for early acts of Normal difficulty, after which it becomes antiquated.
Rather arbitrarily, Bladebone also gives a bonus to defense, which can be useful early game, especially when combined with a good shield.
