Blackstone Village was a town in/near the Dark Wood.
Lore[]
In 1270, Blackstone was razed by the Bloodsworn,[1] and seeded with Dark Creepers and other strange plants.[2] Practically every man, woman, and child in the village was slaughtered and their blood collected.[3] While the Bloodsworn believed they had killed everyone, there were a few survivors who managed to escape.[4]
As the Shard-seeker made their way through the village, they found a number of the villagers' bodies, all of which had been drained of their blood by the vines. Alyssa was the only survivor they found, and even then, did not make it far out of the village before being killed herself.[2]
The Bloodsworn remained in the ruins of Blackstone, even after the defeat of the Countess. An unknown party posted a bounty in Westmarch, requesting that adventurers kill the Bloodsworn who had taken up residence, in order to avenge the fallen.[5]
The survivors the Bloodsworn missed made it to Eastgate Keep, where they swore revenge.[4] The Bloodsworn were eventually wiped out, and a lone hunter, a survivor of Blackstone, scoured Khanduras for any sign of them.[6]
In-game[]
The village is a zone of the Dark Wood in Diablo Immortal. It is linked to the Cairn-Crested Path, and is effectively the zone's starting area. It hosts a waypoint.
