Avarice Band is a Legendary ring in Diablo III. It requires character level 12 to drop, and can only be obtained from Horadric Caches from Act III or Act IV.
The special affix is mostly useless in combat save for triggering certain passive skills belonging to the Witch Doctor. However, it does help collect the gold dropped while using a full Gold-bathing build with Goldskin, Kymbo's Gold, Goldwrap and Boon of the Hoarder.
The ring can also be helpful in speedfarming Nephalem Rifts since the bonus to Health Globe Pickup radius also applies to progress orbs. An extreme version of this effect (only for orbs, not gold) is granted by the aptly named Reach seal of the Altar of Rites.
The legendary effect emanates, so it works even while equipped on Followers.
