- Zone description(src)
Ashwold Cemetery, of the town of Ashwold, is located in Khanduras.
Lore[]
The cemetery is not too far from the birthplace of Queen Asylla. Ulric served as the cemetery's groundskeeper, living in a house in/near the cemetery.[1] Caves are located to the cemetery's north.[2]
History[]
Ashwold saw its share of bandits and grave robbers over the years, but nothing too major.[3] In 1263, Asylla was buried after being executed by Leoric.[4] The location of her tomb was kept secret.[3] When the Worldstone was destroyed two years later, one of its shards landed in the area.[1]
In 1270, the dead rose in and around Ashwold, overrunning the graveyard.[5] The Ashwold Guard fought against them for weeks.[6] Furthermore, a surge in banditry occurred.[1] A number of refugees fled the area, seeking sanctuary in Westmarch.[7]
By 1272, Ashwold was still plagued by undead.[8]
In-game[]
The cemetery appears as a zone in Diablo Immortal.[4] It is the second hub that most players will visit, and has a recommended Character Level of 10-22.
Every half hour, a carriage passes through the cemetery. All players in the zone can attack the carriage for loot.[9]
