Artful Replacement is a contract in Diablo Immortal.

Description

We think the Immortals are operating out of three warehouses in Shassar. Infiltrate them, find their list, and work with our forger to replace it.

Story

Immortals operating in Shassar have compiled a list of all known Shadows in the region. Before they can purge any of us, you need to find the list.

Objectives

1. The Genuine Article.
   (Explore Immortal safehouses until you find the list.)
2. The Forgery.
   (Forge a new list that will fool the Immortals.)
3. The Swap.
   (Place the forged list in the Immortal safehouse where you found the original.)

Investigate the Immortal Safehouses

Upon finding the List

• Class: That's the list. It shouldn't take long for our forger to create a fake. There's something strange about the vellum, though.

Bring the List to Turlow

• Turlow Sidewinder: Hmm...we'll need new materials for our list so the Immortals don't know the difference. Bring me dune wolf skin for the vellum, and scorpion venom glands for the ink. Cutting up the local fauna is within your remit, isn't it?

• Turlow Sidewinder: Exquisite timing. My hands tremble a bit, so if you could just copy their names over. I'll watch and ensure you don't make a mistake.

• Turlow Sidewinder: Just imagine the poor scribes apprenticed to the Immortals, sweating their talent away for a shiny banner and a copper coin. If this heat leaves me any tears at all, I will weep for them.

• Turlow Sidewinder: When you're tired of this life, consider becoming a forger. You have the hands for it.

• Class: Done. This should confuse them while we relocate the Shadows on the old list.

• Captive Immortal: Whatever you're planning...you won't live long enough to see it happen!

• Class: I didn't see any of them get inside. If Bailey cleans things up, the plan could still work.
