The Armies of Terror[1] were the forces used by Diablo in his attack on Heaven. They were based in the Burning Hells, able to enter Heaven via Hell Rifts. The rifts were sealed by the Nephalem,[2] and the armies repelled after the defeat of Diablo.[1]
